Katrina Eugenia is a photographer and artist of many mediums based out of Brooklyn New York. After completing her internship at Bruce Webers studios, Katrina began an intensive long term thesis project on Men. A film in fact, about herself getting to know Men. Over the past couple months Katrina has put herself in situations where she interacts, interviews, observes, films and photographs, men in their environments, and just roles with the camera.
Most recently, Katrina was asked to donate portraits of Breast Cancer Survivors to the American Cancer Society for publication and promotional use. She is also credited for her assistance in Bruce Weber’s CARTIER I LOVE YOU, Anniversary Book, Special addition on Miami in L’UOMO VOGUE, and his latest addition of ALL AMERICAN (VIII): “Nature’s Way”. Katrina Eugenia's work has been recognized is several contests and exhibitions. For instance, Katrina’s story, “ If Masculinity Were Made of Flowers” (Myshot08 honorable mention winner) was also featured in the gift bags at the Buckler Fashion show for Spring 2009. The forever motivated and ambitious Katrina Eugenia is always working on new projects as she enjoys her personal and commissioned work dearly.
